new years 2011

Time to welcome a new year again. 2011 is sure to be a eventful year. Lots of fun changes major events in store for us in the upcoming year.

1* Mom and Dad leaving for their mission in January.
2* Whitney turning 16 bringing the fun & stress of dating and driving.
3* Lauren turning 12 and starting young women (first year of girls camp and etc)
4* Lauren will be headed off to her first year of Junior High
(ahhh, this scares me more than Whit dating)
5* My baby will be starting Kindergarten this year. :(
6* I will have a child in every school in town! (first year of 5 in a row)
7* Jeff and I get to go with the young women and men to trek as a Ma and Pa.
8* Lynsie will be turning 8 in October and getting baptized.

This should be a fun and eventful year.

Christmas morning 2010

Christmas morning this year was very nice. We had Mom and Dad and Garrettt over for crepes for breakfast. Then we saw what Santa brought us and opened presents. Whitney and Lauren got new Ipods, Cody got a 22 and lego set. Lynsie got "the only thing I want" a gameboy DS. Austin got a lego set, and a art set. So all was well. It was great to spend time with mom and dad since next year they will be on their mission. We relaxed and enjoyed the day. Jeffs parents came for lunch. I love just relaxing and spending time with family. When kids are playing legos, ipods, and ds it makes for a pretty quiet day too. :)

Mom and Dad's farewell

Mom and Dad had their farewell the week before Christmas. It was neat to not only have their farewell, but it was also their Christmas program. Is was evident by all the comments during their program that they will be missed in their ward. Since we all got together, we definately had to get together and eat. We had a shindig at the northeastern office. It snowed that morning, so the kids had a blast playing in the snow.

Logan had Austin for Christmas and he was so pumped when they gave it to him and the box was HUGE. his grin was just as huge as he packed it to our car.

It was again our turn for preschool. Our letter was the letter L. We made ladybugs, Look and find bottles. Austin loves preschool, and playing with friends. It's fun to get the kids excited.

Thanksgiving 10'

I didn't get alot of pictures this Thanksgiving. But a good time was had. We went to Janice and Alans and had some good laughs. Luke and Manda were there fresh off their honeymoon. We came we ate and we left (in true bugs life fashion) . The next day (as always) the plan was to hit walmart early with my sisters. Well Walmart for what ever reason threw a wrench in our plans. The big MIDNIGHT sale. What the heck???How was 5 am not early enough? So Liz and I sent Jeff and Darren to the midnight portion of the fun and we opted for the 5am portion. I totally was thinking he took the easy shift. Well..... He said as they pulled into vernal there were cars waiting to turn into walmart before lowes. He tells the tale (of course with added drama) very well. i will atempt to tell it...(in my most dramatic voice) "They had to park all the way at the Pizza hut because there was not any room for them in the parking lot. He said there were people just standing everywhere. You could barely walk in the isles. He said at one point he considered going out and sitting in the truck. On a positive note, it kinda helped us. We got there for the 5 sale parked a few spaces out and by 5:30 we were done and gone. So ummm. I should not be surprised when Jeff returned home after all his fun that he was packing a 24 pack of play-dough. Kinda my payment for the pain. Pain in return. I asked him why he got the play-dough when it was not on the list? Cuz he said...kids like play-dough...... Spoken like a DAD. :)

Lynsie

The story behind this picture is pretty cute. Lynsie insisted she get her picture taken in the tractor bucket. I thought sure get it over with, but it ended up being my favorite picture of her.

I love the guys with the old truck!

Family Fall 2010

I love this one of the kids. My friend Tara made this picture into an amazing necklace charm for me for Christmas.

This one is perfect to show everyones personality. I love it, even though you see no one's faces.
