Warm Weather

I am glad when it gets warm enough for the kids to play outside. After being inside all winter it's such a nice relaxer! Lynsie has been waiting for the snow to melt so she could drive her car. Austin is such a good little brother and loves to just go for a ride.

grandma t at grandparents day

Lynsie had a grandparent day luau last week at prechool and Lynsie invited my grandma toni. I was really touched when I saw these pics on the preschool blog. Partly because grandma toni is a hard lady to catch in a photo. Second because I am so greatful Lynsie has had the chance to get to spend time with her and get to know her. I really admire my grandma. She is constanly doing for others. If you have met her you have more than likely been a recepient of a casserole, cookies, dry wall help, or just a great smile and hug. I aspire to be as selfless as her. I wish my kids had been able to spend more time with all my grandparents. This pic is truly a treasure.

lynsie's preschool pics

Lynsie was learning about being a"worker" at preschool. Here are some cute pic 'miss shirleen' posted on their blog. (she's in the striped shirt) Lynsie sure loves her preschool. They had baby chics hatch in class last thursday. When she posts pics I will have to pass them on.

selling the para plane

For a while Jeff has been thinking of selling his paraplane. He listed it on KSL last summer for a while and got a few calls but nothing serious. A guy at work asked him about it just over a week ago. He came to look at it a week or so ago & he told Jeff "I'm going to go fly my friends and if I like it I'm going to buy yours" Jeff laughed and said you may as well make me out the check. We have had lots of fun on it for the 7 years we had it. Most of my family got a ride while we were living in oregon, and Jeff had to take it up for one last ride when he came to pick it up. I am sure if Jeff gets to wanting to fly he can go take his dad's up sometime. He was grinning afterwards though, because now he is that much closer to his shop being completed. (we are all excited for that)

infamous hair and scissors

While I was at the blue and gold banquet tonight Lynsie decided to stay and play with nika. When I picked her, they had dumped all nika's 'kid scrapbook supplies' all over nika's room. We started to clean up all the paper and scissors, and found some surprises. Under some paper next to some scissors was a clump of hair. Some long staright pieces, (from Lyns) some strawberry blonde pieces, (from Nika) and some short curly blonde pieces (from Evan).

Lynsie had the end of her pony chopped and she has a very short bang section. Nika got the end of her pony chopped, and Evan will need a buzz (thank heavens he's the boy of the group) Thank heavens there wasn't as much hair as this picture! Goodness kids are crazy! I think the scissors at Niki's and here will be put up for a while. This is not their first time trying out their haircutting skills, hopefully we will not have a third time!

Now that's Fancy

We were lucky enough to get an invitation to the Uintah County Library's 'fancy nancy tea party'. We had loads of fun! All of Lynsie's Snow cousins rode to vernal together, dressed in their finest. We even got to make up fancy names for each of us. We got to do a fabulous craft, paint our nails and have treats. We drank our punch with our pinky up & our brownies had a plume in them (that's a fancy word for feather). They taught us how to curtsy and then read our favorite fancy nancy books to us. Lynsie got to ride home with her friend Nika. It was a very fabulous day (that's a fancy word for fun)

25 random things

I had a hard time comming up with 25. My entire life must just be all too random.

1. My secret passion is chocolate. I have had guys at Jeff's work pay me for hard hat stickers with chocolate. (wonder why I need to loose weight)
2. I have wanted to be a nurse since I was 10. I took my RN boards in 1998.
3. I love to run / walk in the rain.
4. After I do any canning, I will think of reasons to go to the storage room to gaze at the full pretty bottles.
5. My hubbys pet name for me is freak. And I don't mind it, when he chooses to use it it's pretty funny.
6. I like the smell of gas (even more when I was pregnant)
7. I can't bear my testiomony without bawling (i tried and failed repeatedly)
8. I love a fresh painted wall.
9. I have over 200 completed pages waiting for pictures, and still am behind on scrapbooking.
10. I would love to go to europe someday.
11. I love to vacuume.
12.I know how to rake hay, plant seeds, and bale hay with a tractor.
13. I like driving standard transmission trucks.
14. I procrastinate ALOT.
15. Nearly every post I have has spelling or grammar errors.
16. I haven't had pop for almost 3 weeks and still miss diet dr. pepper.
17. I am planning on running in the wasatch back for the 3rd time this year.
18. I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
19. I drive my kids to and from school, EVERYDAY, (i secretly am counting down till whit drives, don't tell her)
20. I have lots of jewlery but don't wear it very often. (I will work on that this week)
21. I love playing basketball, expecially tribal, cuz fouls are expected.
22. I sell close to my heart scrapbooking, mostly to support my own habit.
23. I really like cooking but hate cleaning up the mess.
24. I think the show the office is stinking funny.
25. I admire my siblings, all for different reasons.
