The joys of having a teenager!!!!
I don't remember what exactly caused this nice little fit. Weather she had to finish her jobs, or couldn't go somewhere when she wanted, or if her sister made her mad, or if she just woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Whitney was being awnry and I told her if she didnt quit I take her picture. She didn't believe me so I went and got my camera. Having a teenager has been fun in lots of ways. These moments are the payments for the fun. We actually were having fun chuckling at her avoiding me getting her attitude on film. But she sure didn't think it was much fun. I'm sure I was never like that! ;)

Snow Family Hoop-la
We decided a few years ago, that instead of buying gifts as siblings, the money would be much better spent doing something together as a family. Those memories will be worth way more years from now than any gift we may have gotten. This year we wanted to do something extra special before Mom and Dad left on their mission. We were doing our annual sledding on Christmas eve. We decided to go out the night before sledding and see all the lights at temple square. We met at chuckarama in downtown. It was nice to have almost everyone there. (I think we were only missing Hayden, Tonias boys and Maelee). Seeing the lights was really neat. My kids had gone and seen them once a couple years ago. That trip however the night we went to see them there were blizzard conditions, so we could not enjoy it as much as this trip. It was kinda crazy chasing that many little kids, but still was amazing. You truly can feel the spirit and its a great oppurtunity to go to the visitors center and remind all of us the reason for the holidays.
After temple square we went and stayed at Holiday Inn in Heber. Jeff wasn't too excited about paying for a hotel room 2 miles from his parents house. They have plenty of room he said. I agreed with him and enjoy staying at their house but decided to just to get a room with the family. I'm glad we stayed at the hotel. The kids all swam in the pool for most of the night and it was fun to watch them having so much fun together. The next morning we all packed up and headed up to meet up with the extended family at the tubing hill. I have enough pictures for tubing I will have to post them later.
