Where did the time go?

My how fast the time flys by. It seems as though a year or two ago I gave birth to a chubby 10#13oz baby. It seems like not that much time has passed since she told the bus driver to drop her off at her grandma's after her first day of kindergarten. I remember it like it was yesterday when she was baptized. When did enough time pass for her to be 16? I can remember when I turned 16. Whitney is such a strong willed, good kid. I don't know that it's because of me, but she has turned into a great teenager. I hope she keeps it up and becomes a great young woman! Love you Whit!

We were having a surprise party for Whit this year for her sweet 16. To keep her off the scent of our surprise (and becuase she asked a million times what we were going to do) I let her have a few girls over for a sleep over. The girls that came were a fun group of girls. Kellie brought her just dance game, which was a huge hit. They entertained themselves all night doing each others hair and makeup. I never heard much from them all night. (which is a welcome change from sleepovers we've had in the past)

Went tubing again with my siblings and extended family this year. Everyone had a great time. I forgot my camera this year so I am stealing Tonia's pictures (from facebook), I am sure she will not mind! We had lots of extended family there. Remnded me how lucky of a girl I really am!
