We told my parents we really wanted to have them for dinner before they left.Liz and I made a master plan. We decided they needed a surprise party. (I have actually dreaded posting this because of how many pictures there are.) Aud and Jo and Nate helped us plan it and get everyone invited. We told them we would eat at Northeastern counciling. All the kids waited and shouted surprise and we were going to eat as a family. And others would start coming an hour later. That plan would have worked, except Wendell Mathison showed up 20 minutes early. So we said surprise others are coming too. So many people came. It was an amzing night, The highlights of the evening were Virginia Smith, the Eckles, and the old riding club reunion.
