projects

I wanted to come up with a creative way for the girls to display their jewelry in the vanity room so all the girls could share. I had a couple different ideas I was tossing around, but this is what we came up with. I had a old window screen. We painted it black and installed some glass knobs along the bottom. It didnt quite have enough spots for necklaces, so we added some tiny finishing nails across the top to hang things on too. They just poke their earrings through the holes in the screen.
BEFORE & AFTER

Finally got towel hooks up.

Yes, I finally hung something on the walls is my basement.

I also finally hung the wreath I bought as Swiss Days

This fills the wall over my desk downstairs. I still need to replace the glass so Austin can have a spot. Sometimes I am lucky to get quanity, and overlook quality. :)

Finally found something to put on my BIG empty wall in my upstairs family room.

This is my bathroom, finally. I bought oops paint and painted over a year ago. The color was was too blaaa. So I got the great idea to put a black wash over it. It did look cool, but was so slow. Well I finally got it done. (yes I started over a year ago) I hung up a few things to finish it up and love how it turned out.
my towel rack
(that was in the girls bathroon until they decided to hang their entire closet on it,
and it fell, then I repo-ed it)

My toliet (and my clearance print from Jubilee)

and last but not least. The awesome window my friend Tara helped me snag from one of her hubby's siding jobs. I put this one together, cuz I was so excited for our find. I will probally add a fabric bow that matches Lynzie's bedspread. The tulle is a little lost against the pink wall. I still love it though.

We listed our house and that made me look around my house and look at my half done projects in a new light. I figured, now is as good as time as any to get them done. So here are pictures of a few things I have got done. There is hopefully more when I get them all done. And maybe even some pictures of a new house before too long.
