Trunk or Treat

Today was our ward's trunk or treat. We had a lot of fun. I hope it's something we do every year. Whit had "blast from the past" day at school and dressed from the 90's, and she just stayed in her costume for the party. When I was ratting her bangs (I'm sure most of us remember that routine) I told her this is how everyone used to do their hair when I was growing up. "yeah" Lauren said "in the 60's"! Man my kids must think I'm pretty old:) Lynsie and Austin were Abu and Jasmine, Cody was a caveman, and Lauren was a cheerleader.

Top Ten!

I have been thinking of all the things I am lucky to have in my life and the biggest thing is my husband Jeff. Without him I would not have all that's good in my life. I decided to post the best 10 things about Jeff.

#1- He is patient enough it helps me be more patient.

#2- He really rarely says anything bad about anyone!

#3-He is a silly Dad

#4 He honors his priesthood

#5 He teases me (this can also be bad)

#6 He is a very hard worker

#7 He is very generous

#8 He allows me to play volleyball and teach scrapbooking and whatever other crazy thing I decide to do.:)

#9 He is easily pleased

#10 He loves me!

Thanks Dave!

Thanks to my Dad's friend Dave who was moving & selling his beautiful bedroom set. Now I have my first complete matching bedroom set. I had lots of shabby chic peices before (or as Jeff would call them JUNK) :) But now I have a matching set. So tonight I got a bedding set to match. Thanks Jen for convincing me the wall needed to be red. I now may have to sleep on the couch because my bed is too pretty to mess up!

I'm so glad when daddy comes home

The kids love welcoming dad home from work. This was thursday night when they knew he was off for 6 days:)

Whitney's volleyball game

Whitney is playing volleyball again and I can see so much improvement from last year. She blocked a spike last week, and is an awesome digger. She had us chuckling last game when she tried spiking left handed, because her right hand was "kinda sore." Jeff and I had a little fun teasing her about it. Anyway I am really proud of her. She is growing up so fast!

Good Morning

The other morning I woke up and didn't see much of Austin as we were rushing to get kids ready for school. He was standing in the hall just holding his "softy" I asked him if he was ok and he said "I tired" He just stood there for a long time. I sat down to talk to him and take his picture and he said "SHHH mom softy sleeping" How can you not wake up smiling when you have this to wake to?

The weight is over!

I am following Debra's lead and posting my weight goal on my blog. I weighed in today, and went to the foot doctor. So between knowing I will weigh in again next week, and inserts to keep my feet from hurting when I run, I am re motivated. I did good this summer running until my feet began to hurt. I need to re start however. I have got a little lazy and need to get so I can wear all the clothes in my closet. I am setting a goal to loose 2 pounds a week. I want to loose a total of at least 20 pounds total. So every thursday, not only will I have to weigh in but I will post my progress! So here it goes, wish me luck!
